Job Description: CLUBHOUSE DIRECTOR
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Master’s degree in a mental health field with proper licensure, certification, or registration by the State of Michigan or a national organization to provide health care services. May give consideration to individuals with a Bachelor’s degree in a mental health field with appropriate registration, certification, or licensure and exceptional experience in the field of mental health.
2. At least three years experience in a supervisory capacity.
3. At least three years experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. Strong preference for individuals with Clubhouse experience.
4. Good moral character as defined by the Michigan Department of Consumer and Industry Services.
5. Ability to assure smooth and efficient operation of all components of Clubhouse program.
6. Ability to encourage, support, and motivate others.
7. Ability to provide information accurately through oral and written communication.
8. Some evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Support and supervise staff, interns, and volunteers.
2. Ensure program compliance with Medical Service Administration Bulletin, CMH, DMH, and CARF standards.
3. Perform all responsibilities within the bounds of the Michigan Mental Health Code and Touchstone Services, Inc. policies.
4. Monitor financial aspects of Clubhouse operation.
5. Supervise monthly funding source billing processes.
6. Maintain positive working relationship with Community Mental Health, acting as representative of Touchstone Services, Inc.
7. Attend regular Clubhouse meetings.
8. Attend regular meetings with Executive Director.
9. Maintain professional standards with members, staff, professionals, and community representatives.
10. Perform public relations functions in association with the Executive Director.
11. Complete all reports as required by the agency, funding sources, etc.
12. Provide support, encouragement, and advocacy to Clubhouse members.
13. Complete special projects as assigned by Executive Director.
14. Perform other related duties as assigned.
ACCOUNTABILITY:
The Clubhouse Director is accountable to the Executive Director.
EVALUATION:
Evaluations will be given by the Executive Director at least annually or more often if deemed necessary.

Job Description: EMPLOYMENT SERVICES DIRECTOR
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor’s degree in a mental health field or vocational rehabilitative field preferred.
2. At least three years experience working with persons with disabilities required.
3. At least two years experience working in vocational rehabilitation.
4. Certification as an Employment Specialist or equivalent certification required.
5. Supervisory experience preferred.
6. Ability to encourage, support and motivate others.
7. Ability to provide information accurately through oral and written communication.
8. Some evening, weekends and holidays may be required.
GENERAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordination of Supported Employment Services to persons referred by contracting agencies. Ensure development of work opportunities for Supported Employment employees. Recruit, train, supervise, support and scheduling of Vocational Specialists. Ensuring program’s compliance with accrediting bodies, contract agencies and Touchstone’s policies and procedures. Supervision of billing and budgeting.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Support and supervise staff and persons receiving services.
2. Access and evaluate individual referrals to the Supported Employment program.
3. Train and assisting the Vocational Specialists to obtain information of the persons wishing to work interests, abilities and strengths based on background information and personal observations.
4. Assists in the environmental and equipment modification to assure reasonable accommodation and the least restrictive work environment.
5. Supervise, schedule and monitor on site job training. Supervision and assessment of worker performance.
6. Coordinate and oversee support services needed to maintain placements, counseling, transportation, advocacy, re-training and follow up.
7. Training of the Vocational Specialists and intervenes, as needed, in working directly with the employers to resolve job related problems.
8. Maintains a working knowledge of the local labor market conditions and trends.
9. Makes systematic employer contacts and develops follow up activities that will create positive working relationships.
10. Maintain fiscal and statistical data for the program.
11. Ensures financial and billing forms are completed and submitted to appropriate agencies in a timely and accurate manner.
12. Maintain a positive working relationship with all contracted agencies acting as a representative of Touchstone Services, Inc.
13. Perform public relation functions as required.
14. Attend regular meetings with Executive Director.
15. Performs other related work as required.
