Blue Water Clubhouse

About Us

OUR CLUBHOUSE......

The Blue Water Clubhouse is in Port Huron, Michigan.  Port Huron is on the bank of the St. Clair River which opens up into Lake Huron. This area is known as the Blue Water Area. Thus our clubhouse is called the Blue Water Clubhouse. We support our members in the recovery process, which involves accepting and coping and rising above a mental illness.

What Happens Each Day at the Clubhouse?

The role of members and staff is to work side by side to complete the duties necessary to run the clubhouse. Here is a list of our units and some of their tasks:

• BW Crew- Maintain and clean our building, transportation vans and keep records. They also are primarily responsible for safety and social /recreation scheduling.

• Business Unit- Billing of services and management of information including this website and a monthly newsletter happen in this unit. Also efforts to help members gain employment and/or improve education occur here.

• Food Service/Kitchen- We enjoy a meal each day at lunch, thanks to the kitchen. This unit also provides a food pantry for our members. The kitchen is affiliated with our local soup kitchen and the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan. Often they cater special events.

Each day a special group meets

Mondays & Wednesdays at 1  p.m.- Supported Education

Tuesdays at 1 p.m.- Membership Meeting
